The brief:
Using influencers to position Swann security cameras as a must-have accessory in the interiors space.
The Idea
With so much inspiration for today’s homes coming from social media, we knew using these platforms would be a great way to get new eyes on the brand. Using our advanced social media search tools, we identified three Instagram content creators with the perfect audiences for Swann Security. Specifically, these influencers concentrate on home renovation – often the activity that triggers consumers to consider a new security system. We wanted them to produce video Reels that could show the many features of AllSecure while also displaying how easily it could be integrated within a modern home. Paid partnerships were implemented so that we and Swann could retain control over quality of the output, as the goal of this activity was not just to reach the audiences of those content creators, but also to repackage and re-share these pieces of content through Swann’s own social channels.
The Impact
With six pieces of content commissioned, we exceeded our coverage target by delivering nine pieces across the three influencers – and consequently achieving a vastly greater number of views to drive product and brand awareness, ultimately leading to increased online sales. Of the views from Reels, a highly impressive 20% of people engaged with the posts. Swann Security further amplified these messages on its own social media pages, not just adding to the overall views for the campaign but also enriching Swann’s channels with high-quality video content.
