The Challenge
We were tasked with drumming up a media storm for Bang & Olufsen’s biggest announcement of the year as it unveiled its New Bond Street flagship. With 2023 seeing numerous brands opening brick-and-mortar stores in London, a multi-faceted approach was critical to success.
How do you create trust in a new product as well as make it desirable? Well, everyone from budget brands to high-end luxury icons rely on independent reviews to validate their products and give them credibility among consumers.
To ensure family-owned British brand Ruark Audio’s revolutionary 100 Series launched to universal critical acclaim, we needed to generate media coverage that cemented its place as the ultimate purveyor of beautifully designed, superb sounding one-box music systems.
The Impact
We only ever want to secure stellar reviews for our clients – and Ruark’s 100 Series was no exception. To deliver the very best outcomes possible, we spent months planning the perfect reviews strategy with careful media audits, reviewer analysis, and in-house audio benchmarking that saw the Ruark R410 receive five-star coverage and high scoring recommendations across the board.
Ruark is a family company – that’s why we chose to host a series of one-to-one intimate briefings with key press where they would have the opportunity to discuss the 100 Series directly with the brand’s founder. After taking the time to develop these all-important media relationships, we were ready for the press to give their verdict on the brand’s most important release to date.
